Anne Mayberry
Moving to Steamboat from Athens, Georgia where Anne matriculated at the University of Georgia was not a tough decision. "Steamboat was my final destination on a tour of the mountain communities of Colorado. Upon entering the valley, I knew this was it and the Yampa Valley Curse* struck, yet again. Since 1978, I've called Steamboat home...and what an incredible home it is!" Anne has held an active real estate license for the past 20 years and began her association with Prudential Steamboat Realty and the Vanatta Group in 2007. Prior to joining the Prudential team, Anne was employed by UPS. "In that time I grew to know every corner of Steamboat Springs and the surrounding areas. Because of the area knowledge gained and the work ethic required, I feel uniquely qualified to assist you in selling or acquiring property. Attention to detail and my ability to listen and attend to your needs are a few of the traits I wish to share with you."
Anne has enthusiasm for the outdoors in all seasons. She enjoys golfing, snowshoeing, hiking, biking, whitewater rafting and camping and flying with her husband, Rod. Let Anne assist you in buying and/or selling your Steamboat lifestyle.
*The Yampa Valley is rumored to possess a curse compelling those who visit to return again and again. But, with all the region has to offer, the curse is more like a blessing. I look forward to assisting you through this process of making the Yampa Valley home.
"With the assistance of Anne Mayberry, my wife, Liz, and I sold a home and bought a replacement in Steamboat Springs in the Fall of 2008, in spite of or maybe because of the nationwide financial crisis. Anne is very knowledgeable about Yampa Valley real estate. She knows the people and the properties from her many years in the Valley. She is persistent and aggressive when she needs to be, but fun and a pleasure to work with whatever side of the deal you are on. She offered her advice but did not press where it was not appropriate. She searched out answers and advice as questions arose. She found and recommended vendors of services when they were needed to make the deal go. She was patient and thorough as we looked at numerous properties to compare and contrast as we reached our ultimate decision. She worked well with both my wife and me based on our different perspectives. With her advice, we priced the house to be sold realistically and sold it in the face of much pessimism. She looked for solutions and work arounds when there were hurdles, made all the more difficult by the economic turmoil. I would unqualifiedly recommend Anne to any Yampa Valley seller or buyer and insist they give me or my wife a call for more detail if they have any questions. You will be making a mistake if you do not have her helping you through the real estate decision-making process. "

"It was our good fortune to work with Anne Mayberry as we looked for ranch property in the Steamboat Springs area in December 2009. Although we were lucky enough to find the ideal property early in our search, it was Anne’s involvement from that point through closing that impressed us most. She was always responsive and ready at a moment’s notice to spring into action on our behalf. She stayed on top of deadlines, attended to details and oftentimes initiated activities to help us accomplish our due-diligence. Anne is warm and personable, and has exactly the right touch when it comes to making suggestions without being insistent or overbearing. While she was working with us during a period of fast deadlines and intense negotiations, our son asked her to show him some condos in the area. Somehow Anne was able to juggle showings, offers and counteroffers for two properties simultaneously, maintaining a high level of attention and support for all of us. She’s definitely a pro. "
